The rope itself is scuff resistant PVC and can be adjusted to length. The rope is denser and thicker than the rope on the skip-hop speed rope and therefore heavier. It spins beautifully and even at high speed when performing crosses etc it does not kink or knot. The rope is joined to the handle using a low friction boss and eyelet system and because it is attached to the handle at a right angle contributes to the amazing 'free spinning' feeling of this rope.

The handles are of simple turned wood and are a pleasure to hold, the texture allows good grip while the ergonomic design allows the handle to sit perfectly in the hand. An elegant solution that contributes to a very enjoyable skipping experience. This rope is simply by far the best in this price range.
